A POPULAR television presenter and celebrity chef has died in a shock helicopter crash.
Mynie Steffens, 43, had been spraying crops on a farm near Patensie in South Africa’s Eastern Cape when the aircraft struck power lines.

Steffens died alongside the helicopter pilot on Monday when the helicopter crashed to the ground on Roodegrond Farm at around 7:45 am.
Ruan Scheepers, the owner of Roodegrond Farm, said his workers had alerted him to the crash.
He said the tragic accident had been a frightening ordeal.
An investigation is underway into the incident, as officials look to identify the cause of the smash.

She launched the show after reconnecting with a childhood friend.
Aldi van der Walt, Steffens’ co-host, has spoken out, saying she was struggling to come to terms with the “massive shock” and “tragic loss.”
“She lived life to the full,” van der Walt said.
“She was always full of ideas that had transformed into successful endeavours, and then executing that with success, winning over people as she went along.”
